A Mummiform

[Mummiforms in a Sanctuary]

The Mummiform creates the final, protective layer for the mummified body, and it plays an integral part in the rites of the Mummification. A sculpted Mummiform may be thought of as a three-dimensional, art piece casket.

Gifted artisans design each Mummiform to exact specifications. The Mummiform and "life mask" can be designed to incorporate the symbology of any religious or philosophical belief that a person may hold. Everything is created in exact accordance with a family's wishes, as set forth in the pre-need arrangement.

The Mummiform is
an Art Form Casket

The Mummiform is first sculpted in clay. A mold is taken and finally, the Mummiform is cast in 1/4 inch bronze or stainless steel. The surface of the Mummiform may be left as a polished surface, or intricately inscribed with text. It may be inlaid with gold, ceramics, or jewels.
