Enshrinement

Enshrinement

We recommend the mummified body be enshrined in a mausoleum or cemetery space that will prevent exposure to the elements and freezing. This may be accomplished with existing mausoleums in memorial parks and cemeteries. A suitable mausoleum should not allow the inside temperature to drop below freezing or rise above 60° F (16° C), i.e. an underground mausoleum or a heated/cooled mausoleum.

A family may choose to have the Mummiform or casket sealed in a triple-reinforced protective vault (such as The Wilbert Bronze®) and buried. The vault must be buried deep enough that it will prevent freezing if the cemetery is located in an area that experiences cold weather.
